There is one pick tonight.

Take New Orleans Pelicans +6 spread (buy half a point) against Milwaukee Bucks for 3% of the bankroll.

The Pelicans have had a rough start to the season as they have tied a franchise record for most consecutive losses after their defeat on Tuesday night. The Pelicans are still searching for their first win of the season after dropping to 0-8 on the year. The pressure has certainly got to be mounting for a team that was expected to be a playoff contender and we expect it to be only a matter of time before they get the monkey of their back and celebrate their first victory. They will have a good chance to do just that tonight as they travel to Milwaukee to take on a Bucks team who has struggled in this series. The Pelicans own a 23-9 edge in the all-time series meeting with Milwaukee so this could be a good chance for them to snap their recent losing skid and pick up a victory.

Given that the Pelicans are winless on the season, the Bucks could come into this contest just a bit overconfident, sensing that this will likely be an 'easy' win. We all know, however, that there is no such thing as an 'easy' victory when it comes to sports. Especially not against a team who should be extremely motivated in this contest. The Bucks could also be dealing with a little bit of in-game rust for this contest as the last time they stepped foot on the court was back on Sunday. If they come out a bit flat in the early going, that could be the opportunity that Anthony Davis and company need to take control of this contest.

Even if the Pelicans come up short of the outright victory, their motivation to pull themselves from the winless ranks should be enough for them to keep this game competitive. Anthony Davis is a force on both the offensive and defensive end, if he can get adequate contributions from the role players on his team and is not forced to shoulder the burden on his own, the Pelicans should keep this game within striking distance. Milwaukee isn't a team that has a history of lopsided or blowout wins. Typically, they have played in more of a grind-it-out style of basketball and if that is the case again tonight, the Pelicans should have a good chance at staying within this generous number even if they don't get the outright win.
