Take Rider -3 spread (buy half a point) against Drexel for 3% of the bankroll. | Friday |

The Rider Broncos are coming off a nail biter of a performance in their win over Kennesaw State their last time out. Rider led at halftime by 3 points and managed to stretch the lead to double digits in the second half. The Broncos nearly then got complacent and allowed their opponents to claw their way back into the contest and was somewhat fortunate to hang onto the victory as a Kennesaw State player missed a wide-open look from three. We believe their narrow victory and late collapse is going to motivate them for this contest.

As a team, Rider is averaging 71.1 points per game on 43.4% shooting from the field. The Broncos are led by Jimmie Taylor who is averaging 14.6 points and 4.4 rebounds per game, while Kahlil Thomas is averaging 13.3 points and 10.1 rebounds per game for the Broncs. They have been dominant on the glass, averaging 42 rebounds per game and are also a team that likes to spread the ball around as they average 12.3 assist per contest.

The Drexel Dragons have struggled this season and are just 4-5 after dropping a 72-71 decision to St Joes the last time they took the floor. Drexel has been known as a team that takes their losses extremely hard and their poor momentum tends to carry over into their next contest. They are just 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games after a loss. They have also had their struggled with the MAAC Conference as they are just 2-5 ATS in their last 7.

We believe that Rider is not only the better overall team at this point in the season, but will also have the advantage on the floor and off the glass. They also have the luxury of playing at home against what could be a very dejected Drexel team. If Rider is able to mount a lead, we don't expect that they will squander it as they did in their last contest. If the Broncos can make their free throws at the end of the game, they should be able to come away with the win and cover.
