There are two college basketball plays tonight.

In addition, an NFL pick has also been released, a day in advance, for Thursday.

Sports Profit System has won 10 of its last 12 picks, with the two losses coming by a combined 3 points!

Take Tulsa +3 spread against Illinois State for 3% of the bankroll.

Illinois State comes into this contest with a bit of momentum behind them having won 3 straight and are coming off an impressive win over New Mexico in their last contest. Their win over New Mexico could have the Red Birds coming into this contest a little bit over-confident and that could be problematic against a quality opponent like Tulsa. Also, Illinois State plays in the much smaller MVC and most of their wins have come against weaker competition this year and on top of that, they have dropped both of their road games on the season.

The Golden Hurricane started out the season with two losses to Jacksonville State and Wichita State, however they then went on a three-game winning streak before dropping a 72-62 decision to Little Rock in their most recent outing. While many may be somewhat shocked at the Little Rock loss, let's not forget that they were a NCAA tournament team last season and could very well be on their way to the Big Dance once again this season.

The Golden Hurricane have 10 newcomers to their roster, two juniors, one sophomore, and five freshmen. Ten players have made their Tulsa debuts this season and those 10 accounted for 77.6 percent of the team’s total points through the first five games and Tulsa also used three different starting lineups in the first five contests. Tulsa is a young team that is still trying to find their chemistry, however they have shown flashes of talent thus far this season. The more experience they get together on the court, the tougher a team they will be.

Illinois State, at least on paper looks like the more well balanced team, however they have struggled on the road. Tulsa will have the advantage of playing on their home court in this contest and we expect that to be the difference. Illinois State will be fortunate to pick up their first road win of the season in this spot and we don't believe they do. Tulsa should win this game outright, however if they don't we expect it to be by the narrowest of margins to where the points will come into play.

Take BYU -13 spread against Weber State for 3% of the bankroll.

We believe the Weber State Wildcats are simply going to be outmatched in this contest against a much more potent BYU Cougars offense. Weber State comes into this contest on a three-game losing streak and we don't believe they will have the offense to keep pace in this contest. On the season, they are averaging just 64 points on 41.9 percent shooting from the field. They have struggled at the charity stripe this season, hitting just 68.3% from the line and have been abysmal on the glass, grabbing just an average of 32 boards per contest.

Meanwhile, the BYU Cougars haven't looked like world-beaters this season but they have been proficient on the offensive side of the ball. On the season, the cougars are averaging 87.8 points per game on 45.1% shooting from the field. This is a team that likes to do their damage down low and do not take an overly abundant amount of shots from deep. Due to their style of play, they have been dominant on the glass and that is an area where we expect them to have a decisive advantage tonight. As a team, the Cougars are averaging 47 rebounds per game, which is 16 more than their opponents. If Weber State's first shot isn't falling, they should be able to crash the glass and hold them to single shot possessions, allowing themselves to pull away on the scoreboard.

Weber State is just 1-4 in road games this season and only average 65 points per game in those contests. BYU on the other hand is 3-1 at home on the season and have average 90 points in those contests. On paper this is a total mismatch. We expect the Cougars to grab the lead mid-way through the first half and extend that lead into the second. IF they don't get complacent and avoid giving up a backdoor cover late in the game, they should cruise to a convincing victory while covering the spread with ease.
