There is one pick tonight.
Take Boston Celtics +5 spread against Houston Rockets for 3% of the bankroll.
The Boston Celtics come into this contest having won 6 of their last 8 games, which include 5 straight on the road. On the season, the Celtics are averaging 104.7 points on 45 percent shooting from the field. Isaiah Thomas leads the team and is averaging 26.3 points and 6.3 assists. Avery Bradley is averaging 17.7 points and 7.9 rebounds and Al Horford is the third double-digit scorer and Jae Crowder, Boston's best two-way player is grabbing 4.8 rebounds. The Celtics have been proficient from beyond the arc as they are shooting 36 percent from downtown.
The Houston Rockets come into this contest on an impressive run of their own as they have managed to pull off victories in seven of their last nine games. As a team, they are averaging 111.4 points on 46.6 percent shooting. The issue for them, however, has been on the other end of the court. This is not a new problem for Houston either as it has haunted them over the last few seasons, especially since Kevin McHale's departure. Scoring isn't difficult for them but preventing the opposition from doing the same has been. It wouldn't surprise us if they failed to contain Boston's balanced offense while Brad Stevens will have a great game plan for Harden and company. James Harden will still likely have a big game as he almost always does but they'll look to limit him and force other players to make shots.
This should be an exciting game to watch as both teams like to push the pace and run up and down the court. Houston is one of the more offensively dangerous teams in the league as they have several ways to put points on the board. With that being said, the Celtics are one team who seems to thrive in the style of game that the Rockets like to play and have the playmakers on offense to keep pace with Harden and company. The Celtics have a slightly better defense than the Rockets and have shown their proficient playing away from home this season. Playing on the road will not intimidate this team. This game could come down to the final minute, with the team getting that critical stop late being the ones who ultimately secure the victory. Both teams are capable of picking up the win and with that being the case, we believe the points could well prove to be valuable and come into play at the end.
