There is one college pick tonight.

After 7 straight winning months including a hugely profitable October, some would say SPS was finally due a losing month!

November did not go as planned but a poor period was inevitable at some point. Now the page has turned to December, a month that we will treat as our 'bounce-back month' and one that should see Sports Profit System finish what has been an excellent year overall, on a high! We are determined and confident of making that happen. As history has proven time and time again, patient clients will be fully rewarded while a minority may be here for a rare rough stretch, jump off, and sadly miss out on the subsequent lucrative months!

Take Nebraska at +7 spread (buy half a point) against Miami for 3% of the bankroll.

The Miami Hurricanes suffered what can only be considered a 'surprising' loss to Northeastern the last time they took the court. While they did lose on a buzzer beating basket, that contest showed some holes in what has been a red-hot Miami team to start the season. Many expect Miami to easily get back to their winning ways in this matchup with Nebraska but we're not convinced.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have been winning games with their defense. They have held opponents to just 38% shooting from the floor and 28.9% from beyond the arc! While they have not been known as an offensive team, things are starting to improve this season as they are getting stellar play from their guards, White and Webster. Nebraska is undefeated (4-0) on its home court this season and this is Miami's first true road game of the season. While the Hurricanes do have quality wins over Utah and Butler this year, it's important to remember that those games were played on neutral courts.

Playing on the road, especially in the Big 10 is an incredibly daunting task. Miami was not projected to start the season off as well as they have and that is something to also take into consideration. The Hurricanes may be playing a bit over their heads at the moment and we wouldn’t be surprised to see them regress a bit and play closer to their preseason projections. While Miami FL is the perceived better team at this point in the season, we believe they will be fortunate to come out of Lincoln with a victory. Even if they do, the Huskers should do enough to be competitive and keep the score within this generous number. The betting public is clearly behind the Canes in this contest and we feel that they could be in for a bit of a letdown as covering this inflated spread will be a challenge.
